p.96 28.Paragraph B - iv. Apparently incompatible characteristics of language
clue : this marvellous invention of composing out of twenty-five or thirty sounds that infinite variety of expressions which, whilst having in themselves no likeness to what is in our mind, allow us to disclose to others its whole secret, and to make known to those who cannot penetrate it all that we imagine, and all the various stirrings of our soul.
I found the clue there on this problem. But still I'm not 100% sure about it since there is no meanings matching with 'incompatible'.
*incompatible : not able to exist or work with another person or thing because of basic differences.
Have I found a wrong clue?
