이 문장에서 반대가 되어야하는 것 아닌가요? - Half as many Turkish Students more studying for other reasons than Chinese Students.
터키 학생들이 영어 공부하는 이유가 기타인 것이 중국 학생들보다 많은 것 같아서요
강의 내용을 확인해 보니
Half as many Chinese students were studying for other reasons than Turkish students.
절반 정도의 중국 학생들이 기타 이유로 공부하고 있었다 / (기타 이유로 공부하는) 터키 학생들보다.
가 됩니다.
Half as many A than B, B에 비교했을 때 절반의 A가 라는 뜻입니다.
그러니 Half as many Turkish students were studying for other reasons than Chinese students라고 하면 중국 학생들이랑 비교했을 때 터키 학생들이 절반이 된다는 의미가 됩니다.
