At first I thought the answer is true.(No mechanical means of stripping cork bark has been invented, so the job is done by teams of highly skilled workers.)
However, when I saw the next sentence, 'they make vertical cuts down the bark using small sharp axes,', because it says using axes, I thought the answer should be false.
In the probelm it says, 'The only way to remove the bark from cork oack trees is by hand.'.
I understand that we use axes with hands but can't we say that it is by axes?
If I think about the sentence, I conceive of a person scratching the tree.
