Sample Answer

The electronic device I’m going to tell you about is my smartphone which I carry everywhere I go and use all the time.

I use it for a number of purposes. First of all, I pretty much rely on my mobile for keeping in touch with my family and friends. I would never want to go back to the days when everyone used landline phones or payphones to speak to somebody. Also, I use my smartphone when Im commuting on the subway to find out whats happening around the world. It must have been more than 5 years ago when(since the last time) I bought a newspaper. Also, I use lots of apps, especially social media apps such as Facebook to read what people wrote on my Facebook wall and my friends status updates.

Well, regarding how I got it, I first decided to buy a smartphone to keep up with my friends who were already using smartphones and also I didn’t want to lag behind advances in technology. So, anyway, I ended up buying one of the latest models at the time with 24 month installment payments(in 24 month installment) as it was way too expensive to pay all at once.

As for how I benefit from using it, my smartphone allows me to stay in touch with my friends and family all the time. But most of all, smartphone keeps me entertained and always gives me something to do when I feel bored on my commute or I have some time to kill. So, it is an essential part of my daily life. And I think it’s safe to say that nowadays a smartphone is one of the necessities in people’s everyday lives.

How do men and women differ in their use of electronic devices?

Men have a tendency to want to stay up-to-date with the latest electronic devices much more than women do, so they are usually more willing to spend money on buying technology-related items. However, on the whole/in general, there are not many women who are interested in adopting the latest gadgets and researching about them.

Which modern day electronic device has developed the most since its creation?

Id say one of the electronic devices that have developed most is the telephone. If you think about it, its first model which was a landline telephone only enabled us to make and receive phone calls, and then it developed into the mobile phone which became available on the market 20 or so years ago. And since then, mobile phones have been evolving continuously. Its really amazing that we will soon be able to buy wearable smartphones that look like a watch.
