It
is suggested that everyone wants to have a car, a television and a fridge. Do
disadvantages of this development for society outweigh advantages?

모든 사람들이 자동차, TV, 냉장고를 가지고 싶어한다고 여겨진다. 이 사회 현상에 대한 단점이 장점보다 큰가?




6월 16일

Nowadays,
most large companies operate multi-nationally. To what extent those companies
should have responsibility towards local communities in which they operate?

요즘에는 많은 대기업들이 국제적으로 경영하고 있다. 이런 기업들이 그들이 운영하는 지역 사회에 어느 정도의 책임을 가져야 하는가?

Cycling
is good for our health and the environment, but it is not a popular transport.
Why is cycling not popular in many places? And what could be done to increase
its popularity?

자전거타기는 건강과 환경에 좋지만 인기 있는 교통수단은 아니다. 왜 자전거 타기는 많은 지역에서 인기 있는 교통수단이 아닌가? 이의 인기를 얻기 위해서는 무엇을 해야 하는가?

Some
people think it is more important for governments to spend public money on
promoting healthy lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on the
treatment of people who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or
disagree?

몇몇 사람들은 정부가 질병을 예방하기 위해 건강한 삶의 방식을 장려하는데 공금을 쓰는 것이 병에 걸린 사람들을 치료하는 것보다 더 중요하다고 생각한다. 얼마만큼 동의 또는 동의하지 않는가?

suggest that children spend more time on watching TV than they do in the past
and spend less on doing active or creative things. Why do you think this is the
case? What can be done to encourage children to do other activities?

연구 결과들은 아이들이 과거보다 더 많은 시간을 TV를 보는데에 쓰며 활동적이거나 창의적인 것들을 하는데 덜 쓴다고 생각한다. 왜 이런 일이 발생하는가? 아이들이 다른 활동을 하는 것을 장려할 수 있는 방법은 무엇인가?

this is happening? and how can we solve this problem?

전 세계에서 어마어마한 양의 음식이 매일 낭비되고 있다. 왜 이런일이 발생하는가? 이 문제를 어떻게 해결할 수 있는가?

In
many countries, governments are spending a large amount of money on improving
internet access. Why is it happening and do you think it is the most
appropriate use of government money?

많은 나라들에서 정부들이 많은 돈을 인터넷 접속을 발전 시키는데 쓰고 있다. 왜 이런 일이 발생하며 이것이 정부 자금을 사용하는데 가장 적절하다고 생각하는가?

The
gap between the rich and the poor is increasingly wide, as rich people become richer
and poor people grow poorer. What problems could this situation cause? What are
the solutions to address those problems?


부자들은 더 부자가 되고, 가난한 사람들은 더 가난해지기에 빈부격차는 점점 더 커진다. 이로 인해 어떤 문제들이 발생할 수 있는가? 이 문제를 해결하기 위한 해결책은 무엇인가?
