<Part 1>
1) Who did you like to play with as a child?
As a child, I loved playing with my cousins. We were very close in age since we were in the same grade at the same school, so it was easy to find common interests. We enjoyed spending time playing games like hide-and-seek or pretending we were superheroes, which made every day feel like an adventure.
2) Where did you go to play as a child?
I usually played in the park near my house. It had a big playground with swings, slides, and plenty of open space to run around. On rainy days, I stayed indoors and played board games or built things with Lego. Sometimes, I also visited my grandparents' farm, which was a fantastic place to explore.
3) What are the best childhood memories?
One of my best childhood memories is the time my family went on a camping trip. We roasted marshmallows by the fire, told stories, and slept under the stars. It was such a simple experience, but it brought us closer together and left me with a deep appreciation for nature.
<Part 2>
Describe a challenge you faced that you thought was rather difficult.
You should say:
What it was - preparing for a public speaking competition
When and where you faced it - during my final year of high school
Why you thought it was a difficult challenge - nervous about speaking in front of large crowds over 300 people, felt quite overwhelming
And explain how you felt at the time - felt very anxious but also determined to do my best / slowly gained confidence, and by the end, I felt a sense of accomplishment
<Part 3>
1) What activities do you think would make children feel challenged? Why?
I think activities like solving puzzles, learning a new sport, or participating in team competitions can challenge children. These activities push them to think critically, improve their skills, and work collaboratively. For example, building a complicated Lego model requires patience and problem-solving, which can be rewarding once completed.
2) Is it easy for children to overcome a challenge?
It depends on the nature of the challenge and the child's personality. Some children are naturally resilient and determined, so they tackle obstacles confidently. Others may need guidance or encouragement from parents or teachers. However, with support and the right mindset, most children can overcome challenges over time.
3) Do most people choose to face a challenge alone or with others?
I think it varies depending on the individual and the type of challenge. Some people prefer to face challenges alone because it allows them to focus and rely on their own abilities. Others find comfort and motivation in working with a team or seeking advice from friends and family. Personally, I believe sharing challenges with others often makes the process easier and more enjoyable.
