Some people say that the purpose of education is to prepare individuals to be useful to society. Others say its purpose is to prepare individuals to achieve personal ambitions. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

어떤 사람들은 교육의 목적이 개인이 사회에 기여할 수 있도록 준비시키는 것이라고 주장합니다. 다른 사람들은 개인이 자신의 목표를 달성하도록 돕는 것이라고 주장합니다. 양측의 견해를 논하고 자신의 의견을 제시하세요.

Contributing to society - education should prepare people to meet society's needs.

1. Society relies on education to train professionals who keep essential services running. For example, medical education trains doctors to treat patients, and engineering education prepares engineers to maintain power supplies and transport systems.

2. Schools play an important role in encouraging cooperation and responsibility. For example, group projects teach students to share tasks and resolve disagreements, preparing them to tackle challenges together in the workplace and beyond.

Achieving personal ambitions - education should help people discover and pursue their goals.

1. Exposure to different subjects helps students discover their interests and strengths, enabling them to make informed choices about their future. For example, a student who develops an interest in scientific experiments at school may set a goal of becoming a researcher.

2. Access to education gives people opportunities to pursue their ambitions, regardless of their financial background. For example, a student who cannot afford private design courses can still build a portfolio and prepare for a career in design through school art classes and guidance from teachers.
