<part 1>

What were your favourite activities when you were a child?

When I was a child, I really enjoyed playing outdoors with my friends. We often rode our bicycles around the neighbourhood, played hide-and-seek, and spent hours at the playground. I also loved reading storybooks because they allowed me to use my imagination and explore different worlds. Looking back, those simple activities brought me a lot of happiness.

Did you prefer to do activities alone or with a group of people when you were a child?

I definitely preferred doing activities with other people. I was quite sociable as a child, so I enjoyed spending time with my friends and cousins. Group activities were more exciting because we could share ideas, compete with each other, and have fun together. Although I occasionally enjoyed drawing or reading alone, I generally preferred being part of a group.

<part 2>

Describe an occasion when you were not allowed to use your mobile phone

You should say:

When it was - during an important work-related training session a few years ago

Where it was - took place in a conference room at a hotel

Why you were not allowed to use your mobile phone - The organisers explained that the session involved confidential information

And how you felt about it - felt slightly uncomfortable because I had become so used to checking my messages and notifications regularly

<part 3>

How do young and old people use mobile phones differently?

I think younger people tend to use mobile phones for a wider range of purposes. For example, they often use social media, online shopping apps, mobile games, and video-sharing platforms. Smartphones have become an essential part of their daily lives.

In contrast, older people usually use their phones for more practical reasons, such as making calls, sending messages, checking the weather, or keeping in touch with family members. Although many older adults are becoming more familiar with technology, they may not adopt new applications as quickly as younger generations do.

What positive and negative impact do mobile phones have on friendship?

Mobile phones can strengthen friendships because they make communication much easier. People can stay connected through text messages, video calls, and group chats even if they live far apart. As a result, maintaining relationships has become more convenient than ever before.

On the other hand, excessive phone use can sometimes harm friendships. For instance, people may become distracted during face-to-face conversations because they are constantly checking their phones. In addition, misunderstandings can arise more easily through text messages since it is difficult to interpret someone's tone or emotions accurately. Therefore, while mobile phones are useful tools for maintaining friendships, it is important to use them in moderation.
