To solve the problems of the present and the future, it is necessary to understand the past. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

현재와 미래의 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는, 과거를 이해하는 것이 필수적이다. 이에 대해 얼마만큼 동의하는가?

Agree - understanding the past is necessary.

1. People can learn from mistakes made in the past.

2. Human nature remains relatively constant despite technological advances. By understanding the past, future human behaviour can be predicted.

Disagree - it is not necessary to understand the past to solve the problems.

1. A significant number of current problems have no historical equivalent. For example, modern issues such as AI ethics or genetic engineering cannot be solved simply through an understanding of the past.

2. The interpretation of past history can be distorted.
