2026. 04.05 Writing Task 2 기출문제

Some believe that pets should stay at home at all times, while others feel they should be allowed outside the home. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

어떤 사람들은 반려 동물들이 항상 집 안에 있어야 한다고 생각하는 반면에 다른 사람들은 반려 동물이 집 밖으로 나가는 것이 허용되어야 한다고 생각합니다. 두 가지의 견해를 모두 논하고 당신의 의견을 제시하세요.

The former view - pets should stay at home at all times.

1. Keeping pets indoors can protect them from traffic accidents, diseases, and other animals.

2. Pets that are not controlled by their owners may cause problems for neighbors.

3. Pets can have a negative impact on wildlife and the environment. For example, cats may hunt birds or small animals, which can disturb the local ecosystem.

The latter view - pets should be allowed outside.

1. Pets need regular exercise to stay healthy.

2. Outdoor activities allow them to explore their surroundings and behave more naturally.

3. Spending time outdoors can help pets reduce stress and boredom.
