Young people are often influenced by others in the same age in their behaviour and situations. This is called "peer group pressure".

Do the disadvantages outweigh the advantages?

disadvantages

1. Negative peer pressure may push young people to engage in risky behaviours such as smoking, drinking, or skipping school.

2. Excessive concern about fitting in can undermine individual decision-making and self-confidence.

3. Peer pressure often leads to stress and anxiety when young people feel forced to conform against their values.
