Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore, every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

1. Every person needs clean water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene. Denying access to it due to cost can lead to serious health problems and deepen inequality.

2. Organizations like the United Nations have declared access to water a basic human right. Governments have a moral obligation to ensure that all citizens can access it, regardless of income.

disagree

1. Supplying water involves infrastructure, purification, and regular maintenance, all of which require funding. If water is completely free, the system may become underfunded and inefficient.

2. If water is free, some individuals may overuse or waste it, especially in areas where it is already scarce. Charging a small fee can promote responsible use.
